Each of these was being performed manually through independent test equipment. Though this kind of test set up suited re -winders and low production units, the medium and high volume production units could not manage with this arrangement as the rate of testing was not matching the rate of production.The time taken to complete the tests on independent equipment and collection of these test data was very high as compared to the rate of production.
